Your campsite in the Vendée

Do you know the Vendée? You like it? You're seeing it for the first time? When you stay at the camping Domaine de l’Orée at Les Sables d’Olonne, you'll have the chance to explore it in all its guises.

So how about starting with a visit to Les Sables d’Olonne? Stroll along the Le Remblai promenade and through the delightful alleyways of La Chaume, after which you can find out about its heritage: churches, chapel, temple etc. History and nature are just bound to bowl you over!

And Vendée means seaside resorts too, as well as beaches and the Atlantic, of course: Olonne-sur-Mer, Brem-sur-Mer, La Roche-sur-Yon etc. Each has its own identity, and you'll be able to find out about them all!

Carry on your tour of the region with the towns close to our campsite including Talmont-Saint-Hilaire and its château, Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez with its salt marshes and the wild nature of the Île de Noirmoutier. Culture, nature and heritage will all be on the menu during your holiday here!

Our campsite enjoys the perfect location for making the most of family activities too: the zoo at Les Sables d’Olonne, the Parc des Dunes leisure park, visits to salt manufacturers and demonstrations by salt marsh workers etc. Our region is also well known for its famous park: the Puy du Fou.
