« Nice park. Not a bad sized pool and slides. Take away and restaurant are OK. They are definitely more fast food orientated. The chalets were nice. They are tightly packed and could benefit from flying screens on the windows »

« Fantastic campsite—clean, tidy, and very well looked after. There’s plenty to see and do on site, with lots of activities and beautiful surroundings to enjoy. The facilities are excellent and everything feels well maintained and welcoming. A great place for a relaxing break, with something for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again. »

Concernant le bar et le restaurant, ceux-ci sont exploités par un gérant indépendant du camping, avec sa propre organisation et son propre personnel. Nous lui transmettrons vos remarques afin qu’il puisse en prendre connaissance. La qualité du wifi peut malheureusement varier en fonction de l’environnement et de la couverture disponible sur le site. Enfin, notre camping accueille principalement des familles et certaines animations sont donc particulièrement orientées vers les enfants, tout en proposant également des activités et spectacles destinés à un public plus large. « There were some genuinely good aspects to this campsite, but unfortunately a number of significant issues meant our stay fell well short of expectations. On the positive side, our four-bedroom mobile home for eight people was modern, clean and very comfortable. The swimming pool complex was excellent, with great slides, an indoor pool for poorer weather, plenty of sun loungers and seating, and it never felt overcrowded. It was reassuring to see lifeguards on duty throughout the day. The campsite also has a small shop stocking most essentials, and the restaurant/bar was good. The takeaway pizzas were convenient, and the Caesar salad was excellent, although drinks, particularly beer, were on the expensive side. The location is another strong point, being only a short drive from supermarkets and the beach. There are also good facilities for families, including a children’s play area, three table tennis tables, several pétanque (boules) courts, washing machines, a couple of washer-dryers, and the option to hire a gas BBQ, which we did and found excellent. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. The outdoor table at our mobile home only seated six people despite the accommodation sleeping eight, which seemed like an unnecessary oversight. We did ask about this but we were told to bring out the indoor table each meal time, okay if the weather remains dry. The campsite’s bins and recycling areas were not emptied for several days at the start of our holiday. They quickly became overflowing and smelled terrible in the hot weather. To the campsite’s credit, this was eventually addressed and collections became daily towards the end of our stay. The biggest issue was our electricity supply. Our mobile home’s power failed on five separate occasions, apparently due to a fault linked to the campsite’s automatic watering system rather than anything in our accommodation. On one occasion we were without electricity for over 12 hours during the heatwave, which was unacceptable when trying to keep a fridge and freezer full of food cold. It’s not easy getting to bed in the dark! The problem was eventually traced and resolved by switching off the watering system, but it caused considerable disruption over several days. There was also a persistent sewage/drain smell around our area of the campsite (we were on pitch166). Almost every morning the odour was overwhelming, making breakfast outside very unpleasant. This really needs to be investigated and permanently resolved, especially during hot weather. Finally, we noticed people using the swimming pool who were clearly not staying on the campsite. I do, however, want to praise two members of the security staff, who handled the situation professionally despite the rudeness and aggression of the group involved. Overall, there is the basis of a very good campsite, with excellent leisure facilities and a great location. However, the repeated power cuts, overflowing rubbish, and persistent sewage smell had too much of an impact on our holiday for me to rate it any higher. »
